Hemmingway once wrote a really short story. It goes like this:
"For Sale: Baby Shoes. Never worn."
Wired Magazine asked authors to write a 6-word short story. Here are some of my favs:
Longed for him. Got him. Shit. - Margaret Atwood
Failed SAT. Lost scholarship. Invented rocket.- William Shatner
Computer, did we bring batteries? Computer?- Eileen Gunn
Gown removed carelessly. Head, less so.- Joss Whedon
Then I tried some of my own:
Submerged crocodile licks lips.
“Romantic swim?”

Broken vows generate escape velocity.
Freedom.

Tequila in Minneapolis?
Breakfast in Tijuana.

Here he comes! Run for your—
OKAY, your turn.

You didn't post my favorite one by Margaret Atwood!
I'll have to come back and try my hand at this later. My coffee hasn't soaked in yet.
Oh, I meant to post that one, too. There--I just revised. That one's fabulous.
I love the Broken Vows one. Sheer brilliance.
