Hmmm. I'm smelling a story here. How is this word pronounced?

How else is there to be about it?

dictionary.com didn't have a pronunciation.

apparently there are other ways to be about art, like creating it for rewards of the end result, like money, status, or freedom. (i've read stories of writers who were locked in a room till they produced so many pages).

yeah, some great art was made that way. which now seems a bit less real to me, because it was fueled by something that makes it not quite so arty.

i'm an autotelist, if there is such a thing. i didn't know there was a word for it. i like it.

i wonder if there's a word for "a belief that making artwork is just a way to get cool stuff."

Yes, that word exists. It's called "Britney Spears."

But someone needs to correct her definition of art.

I know what it's like to find the word that describes you. Last year, I had an epiphany when I discovered the word sesquipedalianism. Finally, a name for the disease!

"aw-toe-tee-lism" sounds like somebody who has a yen for cars that were once on "miami vice."

i wish i knew more writers (my circle) who produced writing for their own justification, but they're in it for the fame, money, etc.

i love this minneapolis crew, by the way. enough that i want to come out and visit, even in winter.
